Brood Ma is James Stringer, a London by way of Kent-based producer and graphic artist. He first gained interest in music through heavy metal, and a predilection towards extremity still seems to hold a place in his musical identity. He got serious about music after dropping out of Central Saint Martins where he was studying visual art. His first output was more in the realm of noise, but eventually took on form, beat, and rhythm to emerge as the experimental dance project that now defines Brood Ma. Click here to read more.

West-London five-piece Babeheaven recently released their beautiful debut single “Heaven." The digital version is available here and the 7-inch vinyl is now available for pre-order here. Currently on a UK tour with BBC Sound Poll nominee Loyle Carner, the band have already opened for Liss, supported Formation around the UK and kicked off the year playing DIY Magazine’s ‘Hello 2016’ shows at The Old Blue Last in London.‬ Babeheaven will also support Beach Baby in the UK in late April and early May. Click here for tour dates. 

Part Two Of Haelos' Music Video Trilogy for the Track "Pray"

In August, Autre featured part one of London-based trio Haelos' music video – for the track "Earth From Above" This time around, we feature part two of the trilogy – for the track "Pray" – which takes further the journey of heartbreak, lust and euphoria. Haelos have just been announced for next year’s SXSW. This weekend the band will play the Pitchfork Music Festival in Paris. The music video trilogy, directed by Jesse Jenkins, is a powerful introduction for the band that just signed to the Matador records label.
