To celebrate the first eight years of exhibitions in their iconic Stockholm venue and their 2019 openings, Fotografiska just released this gorgeous photography book, called The Eye.

The Eye, featuring 256 images from 83 of the best photographers in the world, is a vibrant photo book that interprets the evolution of the field. It highlights a unique selection of exhibited photography, ranging from icons to bold and exciting new talents, and includes work of masters such as Bryan Adams, Roger Ballen, Guy Bourdin, Nick Brandt, Edward Burtynsky, Anton Corbijn, Elliott Erwitt, Esther Haase, Pieter Hugo, David LaChapelle, Robert Mapplethorpe, Sarah Moon, Jimmy Nelson, Helmut Newton, Martin Parr, Andres Petersen, Bettina Rheims, Herb Ritts, Paolo Roversi, Sebastião Salgado, Martin Schoeller, Vee Speers, Christian Tagliavini, and Albert Watson.

Los Angeles this weekend: Classic Photographs Los Angeles show. Pieces by master photographers such as Berenice Abbott, Ansel Adams, Manuel Alvarez Bravo, Frantisek Drtikol, Elliott Erwitt, André Kertész, Wayne Miller, Joseph Sterling, Edmund Teske and Garry Winogrand. We'll have work contemporary photographers such as Raymond Meeks, Mark Steinmetz and Jason Langer as well as by a number of Japanese photographers including Emi Anrakuji, Yasuhiro Ishimoto, Daido Moriyama, Harry Shigeta and Issei Suda. Featuring our fifth cover, an original artwork by Jeffrey Gibson, the first Indigenous artist to be chosen for the United States Pavilion with a solo album exhibition at the 2024 Venice Biennale. Since the 1990s, Jeffrey Gibson has been weaving his own Native traditions and queer history with pop cultural references—particularly song titles, into kaleidoscopic textile works, paintings, videos, and performances. A member of the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians and of Cherokee descent, he is the first Indigenous artist to represent the United States with a solo presentation at the Venice Biennale. His exhibition at the US Pavilion, the space in which to place me, takes its title from Oglala Lakota poet Layli Long Soldier’s poem e Sápa. Gaetano Pesce (1939–2024) “The time of copies is behind us.
