Paul Jasmin (1935 — 2025) Jasmin was the ultimate chronicler of the Southern California mood and energy. His photographs of “Lost Angeles” and its young inhabitants in a kind of heat wave induced lassitude, spread out on fur rugs and velvet couches, under motel neon and palm trees kissing motel roofs, are indelible and iconic. Last night NYC, @miumiu ᴛᴀʟᴇꜱ & ᴛᴇʟʟᴇʀꜱ Tales & Tellers is a Miu Miu project blending fashion, film, and art, featuring female creatives from the Miu Miu Women’s Tales series and artistic interventions from runway shows between Spring/Summer 2022 and 2025. Conceived by Miuccia Prada and created by artist Goshka Macuga with curator Elvira Dyangani Ose, it’s a site-specific installation and performance exploring evolving ideas of femininity. Debuting in Paris in 2024, the project returns in a new form to New York’s Terminal Warehouse on May 10–11, 2025. It includes performances reimagining characters from all 29 Women’s Tales films and seven runway interventions, created with director Fabio Cherstich.
