Exclusive Premiere of The Music Video for Bliscord's Track "Kream" Featuring Bunny Michael

Bliscord – which is the brainchild of Light Asylum's Bruno Coviello – has released a mixtape featuring collaborations with some of New York's most musically creative and daring. Today, Autre is excited to exclusively premiere the music video for "Kream," which is a brilliant collab between Coviello and musician/artist Bunny Michael. The video, a pastiche of found footage inter-spliced with a trippy cameo by Bunny herself, was concepted, art directed and edited by Coviello and Michael.

Autre Talks With Sexual Mystic, Nature Slut and Artist Bunny Michael About Coming Out And Finding Your Spiritual Twin

Back in 2007, she was Bunny Rabbit – it was the era of scenesters, top eight, Internet party photos, seemingly blind vapidness and a generation of millennials desperately seeking a discernible identity. She sang about taking cocaine anally and smoking marijuana vaginally – with backing beats from trans MC and Coco Rosie beat boxer Black Cracker. Her album “Lovers and Crypts” garnered a lot of attention – Sasha Frere-Jones in a New Yorker article dubbed her “the original art rapper.” Today, she is Bunny Michael – after four years of self-realization and a recent sexual revolution she has found a deeper, more meaningful side to herself as an artist and a person. Her recent series of photographs, which are on view now at Alt Space in Brooklyn, are a testament to her evolution and elevation. The exhibition – entitled “The Etheric Double – is the artist’s first solo show and features portraits of the artist and her “spiritual twin” who is manifest as a higher consciousness and a conduit for “kindness, love and acceptance.” In the following interview, Bunny talks about coming out, sexual revolution and the importance of finding your own spiritual twin. Bunny Michael’s First Solo Exhibition Deals With the Beguiling Tangles of Human Consciousness

Alt Space presents "Etheric Double," Bunny Michael’s first solo exhibition, featuring new digital portraits and acrylic paintings that explore the beguiling tangles of human consciousness and relationships. Steeped in overwhelming positivity and self-love, Bunny Michael’s work bridges the divide between the self and self-awareness, the natural world and the future, reality and perception. With "Etheric Double," Bunny Michael uses her own “spiritual twin” as the conduit for expressing and advocating kindness, love, and acceptance of yourself and those around you. There will be an opening reception at Alt Space (41 Montrose Avenue, Brooklyn) on June 26 from 7 to 9pm, and the show will run from June 26 to July 12.
