The exhibition includes more than 200 photographs ranging from Sultan's conceptual and collaborative works of the 1970s to his solo works in the decades following. Magnum photographer René Burri passed away at the age of 81 on October 20, 2014.
Dreams of Arthur and Gilbert
Abbey Meaker’s soft pastel-like photographs are composed of classical portraits of nuns that the artist culled while researching the Catholic orphanage where her family members, Arthur and Gilbert, resided in the 1930s. Meaker has projected, recomposed, blurred, and rephotographed these traditional portraits to reappropriate ideas regarding the isolated/insulated lives of religious communities of women. The exhibition will include photographs and projections. Dreams of Arthur and Gilbertwill be shown at the Living/Learning Gallery, University of Vermont from September 2 - September 26, with an opening reception beginning at 5:30pm on Thursday, September 4.

Byzantine by Synchrodogs
The much anticipated debut monograph from Synchrodogs, the emerging avant-garde photographer duo from Ukraine. A curation of their most interesting work to date presented in a large format clothbound hardcover book. This First Edition is limited to just 460 numbered copies. Tania Shcheglova and Roman Noven of Synchrodogs have only been collaborating since 2008, but have had solo exhibitions around the world and have contributed to many magazines, including Pas Un Autre Issue 1. Marcelo Krasilcic @ Colette
Marcelo Krasilcic is a Brazilian American photographer born in São Paulo into an Eastern European Jewish family. He moved to New York in 1990 to study art and photography at the New York University. Soon after graduating at NYU, he started exhibiting his art work and helped define the 1990’s while creating images for magazines such as Purple, Dazed & Confused, Self-Service and Visionaire. Marcelo’s further contributions to magazines such as Harper’s Bazaar and Vogue Hommes International, as well as album covers for bands such as Everything but the Girl, solidified his influence in the international fashion and portrait industry.
