Narcissus Garden has been re-installed and commissioned in various settings since its creation more than 50 years ago. This iteration is comprised of 750 stainless steel silver globes that create an infinite lake that distorts images of reality reflected on the surface of the 12-inch orbs. Yayoi Kusama "Narcissus Garden" will be on view until April 28, 2019 at Bellagio Gallery Of Fine Art in Las Vegas.
Flat and barren deserts, snow-capped and striated red canyons, the coniferous woodlands of the Rocky Mountains, and neon lights for days—such filled our adventure across the American West. From California to Nevada, Arizona, Utah, and eventually Colorado, our expedition included a wide variety of otherworldly landscapes, forgotten national landmarks, and a heavy dose of genuine Americana. This generational and geographical cross section is a regional portrait of neighboring, yet diametrically distinct states approaching the final year of the Obama Administration.
